Women's Competitions are held as separate events in all the WBF Championships and there is also a WBF Online Women's Bridge Festival held twice a year, in the Spring and Autumn.

The Women's competitions are:

  • The Venice Cup - held as part of the World Bridge Team Championships in the odd-numbered years. Teams qualify for the World Championships through their Zonal Championships.
  • The World Bridge Games - formerly the World Teams Olympiad. The Games are held in the same year as the Summer Olympics, and are contested by the National Teams from the WBF Member countries. Each member country has the right to send a team to participate in the Women's Series at the Games.
  • The World Bridge Series - this is a transnational event, held in the same year as the Winter Olympics. There are no quotas on the number of teams or pairs that may compete in the Women's Teams and Pairs Championships held in the Series.
  • The World Youth Teams Championships - there is a special event for Girls at the World Youth Championships, for the Rona Cup
  • The WBF Online Women's Bridge Festival held every April, which in 2013 is being extended to include an Autumn event. Full details of this very enjoyable event can be found on the WBF Women's Bridge Club website
